Good Tuesday morning to you!

We added a new feature to the Daily Umbrella yesterday as a result of suggestions from several of our sports-minded readers who stated their frustrations that their daily newspaper doesn’t provide scores from the prior evening’s games. We gave it our first shot on Monday with a short piece called “The Score.” In it, we highlighted men's and women’s basketball scores from Iowa, Drake and Iowa State. A few UNI fans politely pointed out that we omitted results from the Panthers. Point taken. Look for UNI results to be added soon, as well as scores from our local hockey, arena football, baseball, soccer and other sports teams as we can. I appreciate the feedback as we work to make the Daily Umbrella even more relevant for you based on your interests. Have other suggestions? Send me an email at the address below.

Have a great Tuesday, and, as always, thanks for reading.

Did his widow pay the ransom demanded? Was his body recovered?
